ATIVIDADES DO endectocides abamectina, DORAMECTINA, MOXIDECTINA E NO CONTROLE DO Ivermectina Boophilus microplus e da Haematobia EM Bovinos, EM SÃO CARLOS (SP)
Abstract
This studyaims toevaluate the activityofendectocidesabamectin,moxidectin,ivermectinanddoramectinin controlof ectoparasitesoftick-boi,Boophilusmicroplusandthe hornfly,HaematobiairritansincattleCanchin(3/racezebu8+5/8Charolais)naturally infestedin the region ofSãoCarlos(SP).We used50animals,maleswith a mean ageof12 months,whichwere randomlydivided into five groups:a controlandfourtreated.Parasiticevaluations were conductedduring periods 1,zero,3,14,28,42and 56 days.On day zero,the drugswere administeredat a dose ofLML/50kgbody weightin the four groups.Regardlessof the evaluation period, there wasno effectof treatment (P>0.05).In the caseof the tick,onlythe 3rddayofthe absencepatenóginas(P<0.05),however, theyoung stages,larvaeand nymphsremainedwasobserved.Repeatedevery 14 dayscountsshowed thatamong those patientsgroupsshowed no statistical difference(P>0.05),although, withthelower level ofinfestation(P<0.05)when compared to controlgroup.It was observed thatuntil the28th dayinfestationremained low(P<0.05),compared to the controlgroup, increasingfrom42 daysthe number ofticks.Was no uniformityasthe infestationof tickstreated groupsupto 42TPD.0for the periodeffectwas highly significant(P <0.0001).The resultsin relation toH.irritans,the Thirddayafter medicationwere observedtotal absenceof fliesin all treatedgroups(P<0.05).In scoresat 14 daysthe population ofH.irritanswas restoredin cattle.In the treatments withivermectinandabamectindecreased thenumberof flies(P<0.05)in the countsrelated to28 and42DPT,whiletreated withmoxidectinanddoramectindid not differfrom the control group(P>0.05).In bothparameters(ticks andflythe horn)was no significant difference(P<0.01)effectforperiod(P)and non-significant(P>0.05) forinteractionTxP.Downloads
