IDENTIFICATION Helicotylenchus and Aorolaimus IN SAMPLES COLLECTED IN THE AMAZON RAINFOREST MUNICI ?? PRINCIPLES OF NORTHEAST PARAENSE
Abstract
Nematodes are the group most numerous invertebrate animals on the planet, occupying almost all ecological niches. In Brazil there are few studies related to identification of nematodes in indigenous areas. The aim of this study was to identify and document the Helicotylenchus and Aorolaimus in areas of Amazon rainforest in four counties of northeastern Pará. 12 soil samples from native forests in the municipalities of Santo Antonio do Taua, St. Elizabeth, St. Dominic's Grass and Bethlehem. Nematodes were extracted from 100 cm3 aliquots of the samples by the method of centrifugal flotation in sucrose solution were collected. Temporary slides for observation and identification of specimens to photonic microscope, at the genus level were prepared. With the data the frequency of occurrence rate was determined by absolute frequency (%) and relative frequency (%). Samples in 10 genera of nematodes were found. And the most frequent was Hemicycliophora found in the four cities studied, Helicotylenchus Aorolaimus and had the second largest absolute and relative frequency.Downloads
