ANTHRACNOSE IN FRUITS OF THE PARI pupunheira ??
Abstract
Pejibayes grown in Santa Barbara (PA) had fruits with symptoms of necrosis and rot. From the investigation of the patient and the material of the pathogenic in healthy fruits testing under controlled conditions, it was confirmed that the causative agent of the disease was Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. The disease was found in about 30% of the plants which showed symptoms in all ripe fruit. This is the first report of C. gloeosporioides in peach palm fruit in Para.Downloads
