Bacterial wilt Fusarium WHY IN THE NORTHEAST melon PARAENSE
Abstract
This study aimed to verify the causal agent of the disease whose symptoms were characterized by wilting and death of adult plants of melon cultivar Ira Ma in the area of commercial production in the region of Barcarena, northeastern Pará. Ap6s investigation of diseased plants as well as the pathogenicity of these isolates performed using tests, it was found that the causative agent belongs to the species Fusarium oxysporum 1 sp. melonis. Symptoms of Fusarium were detected in 30% of the plant population at early flowering and 100% of them at the beginning of fruit formation.Downloads
